  • The Valley Teaching School Alliance - Booking and Cancellation Terms & Conditions


    The Valley Teaching School Alliance reserves the right to amend the Conditions at any point and by notifying affected parties of any such amendment.

    Course Bookings

    Training courses can be booked on line via our website www.valleytsa.com. Alternatively if you wish to receive a hard copy of our booking form please contact the Teaching School Administrator on 01737 553255 or email tsadministrator@chipstead.croydon.sch.uk. When we receive your completed booking form we will send out an invoice for the course fee, for which payment will be due within seven days. Please note that bookings are only confirmed once we have received the completed booking form. Full details of the course venue and times will be sent seven days before the course booking.


    Course bookings will be allocated on a first come, first served basis – subject to receipt of the course fee. In the case of over subscription to a course, a waiting list will be put in place.

    We are happy to accept multiple bookings from an organisation. In the event that an individual is unable to attend, an organisation is permitted to send a replacement representative (providing they meet any course eligibility requirements). We will consider exceptions on a case by case basis.

    Payment is required before the start of a course. If payment is not received prior to the start of the course this could result in your place being allocated to another customer.


    Cancellation Terms

    If you wish to cancel your booking you must notify The Valley Teaching School Alliance in writing by emailing tsadministrator@chipstead.croydon.sch.uk. A cancellation will only be effective once written notification has been received. Failure to attend a course will be considered a cancellation, and no refund of course fee will be made. If you cancel your booking more than two but less four working weeks before the course date, 50% of the fee paid will be chargeable. Cancellations received less than two working weeks before the course date will be charged in full.

    The Valley Teaching School Alliance reserves the right, if necessary to make alterations to a previously confirmed training course for reasons including but not limited to illness, adverse weather conditions or insufficient demand for the training course. In such cases the delegate will be informed as soon as possible. Where feasible, The Valley Teaching School Alliance will offer alternative dates for the training to take place. The Valley Teaching School Alliance will have no other liability for changes to your training course other than those set out in this condition, and no other claim for compensation or expenses will be considered.

    The Valley Teaching School Alliance reserve the right to remove any delegate as a result of disruptive or inappropriate behaviour, such decision being at the sole discretion of the course leader. In such circumstance The Valley Teaching School Alliance will not offer any alternative dates or refunds of monies already paid.

    The Valley Teaching School Alliance shall under no circumstances be liable for any loss of profit incurred by attending an event. All payment transactions between The Valley Teaching School Alliance and the client are confidential and should not be disclosed to outside parties.

    If a course is cancelled by The Valley Teaching School Alliance then we will first and foremost seek to re-programme the session with you. If this is not possible, we will return any course fee paid.
